Multivalve is a very important component in a Gas
Conversion Kit. Though there are lots of Multivalves manufactured by different companies
available in the Indian market, only a few have performance perfectly. Turkish made Aldesa Beta
Gaz Multivalves which is manufactured using the most modern and safest technologies in this field
is being distributed by Gas Energy for the Vehicles
in India. These Multivalves satisfies all
International Standards and is manufactured in E 67
R 01 European Standard and has obtained the Approval
of Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization for
use in India. The official Distributor of Aldesa
Beta Gas Multivalves for India is Auto Gas Energy
India Limited.

FUNCTION |
|
*
Fitted on the LPG Tank |
|
*Ensures gas refilling in the Tank |
|
*Adjusts the filling limit |
|
*Displays the tank level |
|
*Dispenses LPG to the engine |
|
*Controls over flow with an overflows valve. |
*Stops
gas flow for safety incase of any disrupted pipe to
the engine
|

|
FILLING LIMIT |
|
Due to
applicable standards and for safety reasons, the
tank should not be over filled. The maximum filling
rate is 80% of the total capacity while the
remaining 20 % will be left for LPG vapor, does
enabling the tank liquid to expand without taking up
all the volume as temperature rises. In order to get
refilling to stop timely, the multi-valve is
equipped with a device, connected to a float, to cut
off LPG flow at maximum permissible level. |
| |
REFILLING |
|
 |
LPG
coming from the fuel pump passes through the
multi-valve during refilling. A good multi-valve
will not show much resistance to LPG passing to
avoid prolonged refilling. The level of
LPG in the tank can be measured with two magnets,
one installed in the tank and adjacent to the device
connected to the gauge on the external side of the
tank.

|
LPG
SUCTION |
SHUTDOWN |
|
The multi - valve ensures LPG suction through a
suction pipe leading to the bottom of the tank |
There
are two valves on the multi-valve to block the
suction and filling pipes. Such valves are generally
open, but may be closed for maintenance or in case
of an accident. |
|
ASSEMBLY |
|
The
multi-valve has a float for LPG level display and a
pipe for a gas suction. Strictly no intervention is
permissible on the float stick during assembly.
Otherwise, it will fail to function at the maximum
capacity which is 80 % . The most important issue
in the multi-valve assembly is it is being parallel
to the horizontal plane. |
